You also must be ready, because the Human Oneis coming at a time when you don’t expect him.”

Instead, desire his kingdom and these things will be given to you as well.

Then Jesus said to them, “Watch out! Guard yourself against all kinds of greed. After all, one’s life isn’t determined by one’s possessions, even when someone is very wealthy.”

Where your treasure is, there your heart will be too.

Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life?

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore, I say to you, don’t worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.

Even the hairs on your head are all counted. Don’t be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.

“Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights in giving you the kingdom.

Consider the ravens: they neither plant nor harvest, they have no silo or barn, yet God feeds them. You are worth so much more than birds!

Don’t chase after what you will eat and what you will drink. Stop worrying.

If God dresses grass in the field so beautifully, even though it’s alive today and tomorrow it’s thrown into the furnace, how much more will God do for you, you people of weak faith!

Nothing is hidden that won’t be revealed, and nothing is secret that won’t be brought out into the open.
