That You May KnowНамуна
The Word of the Father
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13, ESV).
Our assurance of Salvation comes not from our feelings or circumstances but from the unchanging Promises of God’s Word. The Bible is our ultimate Source of Truth, and it tells us who we are in Christ. When we put our faith in the Word of God, we can confidently say, “God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.” Our Salvation is secure because God’s Promises are true, and we can trust them completely. As 1 John 2:3-6 reminds us, obedience to Jesus’ Commandments is evidence of our Salvation, rooted in the Truth of His Word.
Do you rely on God’s Word as the Foundation of your assurance of Salvation, or do you sometimes let your feelings or circumstances cause you to doubt?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for the Gift of Your Word, which gives us the assurance of our Salvation. Help me to trust in Your Promises rather than my feelings or circumstances. Strengthen my faith as I continue to seek You through Scripture. May Your Word be the Foundation of my life, and may I live in the confidence that I am who You say I am. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan
That You May Know explores, over three days, the assurance of our Salvation. We will look at the Word of the Father, the Work of Jesus Christ, and the Witness of the Holy Spirit. God desires for us to know that we are saved and to live in the Peace, Joy, and Purpose that come from a relationship with Him. May this devotional strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding of God’s Love for you.
