DAY 6 OF 28

Sometimes, we need to know how to respond when we notice a place in our lives or the world where change needs to happen. As middle schoolers, we may recognize that things need to change, but we’re not sure what to do about it. Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do in those moments is to be bold and speak the truth with love. Other times, it’s best to hold back and not leave a comment, say the words we want to, or tell the story about someone else. As Scripture says, there’s a time for either response. Part of growing and changing is knowing when to step up and when to hold back. And because of God’s wisdom in our lives, we can trust that if we turn to God, we’ll know how to deal with the things that need to change when we see them.

As you see the need for change in your community and the world around you, ask God to give you wisdom and the courage to respond.
