How to Be a Good Steward of Your Finances (Part 2)Намуна
Day 3. Planning for the Future
Planning for the future is a crucial aspect of good stewardship.
And the Bible has always emphasized the importance of planning. It is not just a modern-day buzzword; it is ancient wisdom that has stood the test of time.
The story of Joseph is a perfect example of how planning can save lives. Joseph, with his colorful coat and the ability to interpret dreams, stockpiled grain for seven years to prepare for the impending famine. His long-term planning enabled him to save countless lives and operate as a high-performing steward.
And in today's world, I think we all understand why planning has become more critical than ever.
2020… need I say more?
The pandemic has taught us that life can be unpredictable, and planning for the future is the only way to stay ahead of the curve.
And planning not only helps us prepare for unforeseen circumstances but also helps us achieve our long-term goals.
Whether it is saving for retirement, your children's education, or even just a rainy day. It can be made possible through proper planning. So, it really is an essential aspect of good stewardship that simply cannot be ignored.
So, are you a Joseph, wisely preparing for the future, or someone who prefers to wing it?
As many have said, "Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
So today, prayerfully ask God how you can grow in this area of your stewardship because we all want to build a complete tower, not just half of it. Right?
