Song of Songs 1:12-17
Song of Songs 1:12-17 The Message (MSG)
When my King-Lover lay down beside me, my fragrance filled the room. His head resting between my breasts— the head of my lover was a sachet of sweet myrrh. My beloved is a bouquet of wildflowers picked just for me from the fields of En Gedi. Oh, my dear friend! You’re so beautiful! And your eyes so beautiful—like doves! And you, my dear lover—you’re so handsome! And the bed we share is like a forest glen. We enjoy a canopy of cedars enclosed by cypresses, fragrant and green.
Song of Songs 1:12-17 King James Version (KJV)
While the King sitteth at his table, My spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof. A bundle of myrrh is my wellbeloved unto me; He shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire In the vineyards of Engedi. Behold, thou art fair, my love; Behold, thou art fair; Thou hast doves' eyes. Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, Yea, pleasant: Also our bed is green. The beams of our house are cedar, And our rafters of fir.

He is like a bouquet of henna blossoms— henna plucked near the vines at the fountain of the Lamb. I will hold him and never let him part. My darling, you are so lovely! You are beauty itself to me. Your passionate eyes are like gentle doves. My beloved one, both handsome and winsome, you are pleasing beyond words.
