In you, LORD my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land. The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish. Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me! Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you. Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!

To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD! Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great. Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me. Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

O LORD, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, O LORD, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O LORD. The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. For the honor of your name, O LORD, forgive my many, many sins. Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land. The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant. My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies. Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress. My problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save me from them all! Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins. See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me! Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge. May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you. O God, ransom Israel from all its troubles.

LORD, I appeal to you.  , My God, I trust in you. Do not let me be disgraced;  do not let my enemies gloat over me.  No one who waits for you will be disgraced;  those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.  Make your ways known to me, LORD; teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth and teach me,  for you are the God of my salvation;  I wait for you all day long.  Remember, LORD, your compassion and your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity.  , Do not remember the sins of my youth  or my acts of rebellion;  in keeping with your faithful love, remember me because of your goodness, LORD.  The LORD is good and upright;  therefore he shows sinners the way.  He leads the humble in what is right  and teaches them his way.  All the LORD’s ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep his covenant and decrees.  LORD, for the sake of your name, forgive my iniquity, for it is immense.  Who is this person who fears the  LORD?  He will show him the way he should choose.  He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land.  , The secret counsel of the  LORD is for those who fear him, and he reveals his covenant to them.  My eyes are always on the  LORD, for he will pull my feet out of the net.  Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.  The distresses of my heart increase;  , bring me out of my sufferings.  Consider my affliction and trouble,  and forgive all my sins.  Consider my enemies; they are numerous,  and they hate me violently.  Guard me and rescue me;  do not let me be disgraced, for I take refuge in you.  May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for you.  God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. For thy name's sake, O LORD, Pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. What man is he that feareth the LORD? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; For he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; And forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies; for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; For I wait on thee. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses! Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins. Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You. Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!

My head is high, GOD, held high; I’m looking to you, GOD; No hangdog skulking for me. I’ve thrown in my lot with you; You won’t embarrass me, will you? Or let my enemies get the best of me? Don’t embarrass any of us Who went out on a limb for you. It’s the traitors who should be humiliated. Show me how you work, GOD; School me in your ways. Take me by the hand; Lead me down the path of truth. You are my Savior, aren’t you? Mark the milestones of your mercy and love, GOD; Rebuild the ancient landmarks! Forget that I sowed wild oats; Mark me with your sign of love. Plan only the best for me, GOD! GOD is fair and just; He corrects the misdirected, Sends them in the right direction. He gives the rejects his hand, And leads them step-by-step. From now on every road you travel Will take you to GOD. Follow the Covenant signs; Read the charted directions. Keep up your reputation, GOD; Forgive my bad life; It’s been a very bad life. My question: What are God-worshipers like? Your answer: Arrows aimed at God’s bull’s-eye. They settle down in a promising place; Their kids inherit a prosperous farm. God-friendship is for God-worshipers; They are the ones he confides in. If I keep my eyes on GOD, I won’t trip over my own feet. Look at me and help me! I’m all alone and in big trouble. My heart and mind are fighting each other; Call a truce to this civil war. Take a hard look at my life of hard labor, Then lift this ton of sin. Do you see how many people Have it in for me? How viciously they hate me? Keep watch over me and keep me out of trouble; Don’t let me down when I run to you. Use all your skill to put me together; I wait to see your finished product. GOD, give your people a break From this run of bad luck.

Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed. ¶Make me know Your ways, LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. Remember, LORD, Your compassion and Your faithfulness, For they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings; Remember me according to Your faithfulness, For Your goodness’ sake, LORD. ¶The LORD is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the LORD are faithfulness and truth To those who comply with His covenant and His testimonies. For the sake of Your name, LORD, Forgive my wrongdoing, for it is great. ¶Who is the person who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will dwell in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant. My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will rescue my feet from the net. ¶Turn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses. Look at my misery and my trouble, And forgive all my sins. Look at my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with violent hatred. Guard my soul and save me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness protect me, For I wait for You. Redeem Israel, God, From all his distress.

O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence], Do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed; Do not let my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed; Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed). ¶Let me know Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long. Remember, O LORD, Your [tender] compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. ¶Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and goodness and truth and faithfulness To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O LORD, Pardon my wickedness and my guilt, for they are great. ¶Who is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose. His soul will dwell in prosperity and goodness, And his descendants will inherit the land. The secret [of the wise counsel] of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning. [John 7:17; 15:15] My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will bring my feet out of the net. ¶Turn to me [LORD] and be gracious to me, For I am alone and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are multiplied; Bring me out of my distresses. Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins. Look upon my enemies, for they are many; They hate me with cruel and violent hatred. Guard my soul and rescue me; Do not let me be ashamed or disappointed, For I have taken refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness protect me, For I wait [expectantly] for You. O God, redeem Israel, Out of all his troubles.

O LORD, I come before you in prayer. My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me! Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated. Make me understand your ways, O LORD! Teach me your paths! Guide me into your truth and teach me. For you are the God who delivers me; on you I rely all day long. Remember your compassionate and faithful deeds, O LORD, for you have always acted in this manner. Do not hold against me the sins of my youth or my rebellious acts! Because you are faithful to me, extend to me your favor, O LORD! The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live. May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way! The LORD always proves faithful and reliable to those who follow the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your reputation, O LORD, forgive my sin, because it is great. The LORD shows his faithful followers the way they should live. They experience his favor; their descendants inherit the land. The LORD’s loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them. I continually look to the LORD for help, for he will free my feet from the enemy’s net. Turn toward me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and oppressed! Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering! See my pain and suffering! Forgive all my sins! Watch my enemies, for they outnumber me; they hate me and want to harm me. Protect me and deliver me! Please do not let me be humiliated, for I have taken shelter in you! May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you! O God, rescue Israel from all their distress!
