1 Corinthians 3:9
1 Corinthians 3:9 King James Version (KJV)
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 New Living Translation (NLT)
For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:5-15 The Message (MSG)
Who do you think Paul is, anyway? Or Apollos, for that matter? Servants, both of us—servants who waited on you as you gradually learned to entrust your lives to our mutual Master. We each carried out our servant assignment. I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. It’s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God’s field in which we are working.
1 Corinthians 3:9 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 New Century Version (NCV)
We are God’s workers, working together; you are like God’s farm, God’s house.
1 Corinthians 3:9 American Standard Version (ASV)
For we are God’s fellow-workers: ye are God’s husbandry, God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 New International Version (NIV)
For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 New King James Version (NKJV)
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)
For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building. [Is 61:3]
