Job 29:19

Have you ever felt like you were waiting on God to work in your life? Maybe you were hoping God would restore your health or relationship. What if we changed how we waited? What if, instead of waiting on God to act, we wait in Him. What would it look like? In this 11-day reading plan, we will examine what God can do in us as we remain in Him.

The book of Job chronicles testing a righteous man's faith through suffering. Although Job's friends attempt to comfort him, it is only by God's revelation of His wisdom and might that Job finds true comfort. Even in deep suffering, God can do all things, and none of His purposes can be thwarted (Job 42:2).
