சிறந்த காலங்களில் நம் உலகமானது உறுதி இல்லாத, தலைகீழானதாகத் தோன்றுகிறது. தேவ குமாரனாகிய இயேசு மட்டும் இல்லை என்றால், நமக்கு நம்பிக்கையே இருந்திருக்காது. ஒவ்வொரு கிறிஸ்து பிறப்புத் திருநாளும் - இம்மானுவேல் - தேவன் நம்முடன், என்னும் பரிசை நமக்கு நினைவுபடுத்துகிறது. நம்முடன் தேவன் இருக்கிறார் என்ற பரிசு தான் நமக்குத் தொடர்ந்து கொடுத்துக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. இப்போதில் இருந்து நித்திய காலம் வரை, நாம் ஒரு போதும் தனிமையாக இல்லை. இது கொண்டாடுவதற்கு ஏற்ற காரணம் தான்.

கிறிஸ்துமஸின் உண்மையான அர்த்தம் நமக்குள்ள இருளை உணர்ந்து கொள்வதில் ஆரம்பிக்கிறது. அந்த இருளுக்கு ஒளியேற்றும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளியைக் கொண்டாடுகிறது. அவருடைய ஒளியின் பிரசன்னத்தில் நாம் ஒருநாள் விடுவிக்கப்படுவோம் என்பது நம்முடைய ஊக்கம் ஆகிறது, கிறிஸ்துவின் மேல் நம்பிக்கைகிறது. இந்த விடுமுறை காலத்தில் அந்த பிரகாசமான ஒளியின் மீது கவனம் செலுத்துவோம். நமது அனுதின மன்னா இந்த பத்து பிரதிபலிப்புகளால் இந்த கிறிஸ்துமஸில் உங்கள் வாழ்வில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஒளியேற்றும் வழிகளை திறக்கிறது .
