Psalms 146:3
Psalms 146:3 New International Version (NIV)
Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
Psalms 146:3-9 The Message (MSG)
Don’t put your life in the hands of experts who know nothing of life, of salvation life. Mere humans don’t have what it takes; when they die, their projects die with them. Instead, get help from the God of Jacob, put your hope in GOD and know real blessing! GOD made sky and soil, sea and all the fish in it. He always does what he says— he defends the wronged, he feeds the hungry. GOD frees prisoners— he gives sight to the blind, he lifts up the fallen. GOD loves good people, protects strangers, takes the side of orphans and widows, but makes short work of the wicked.
Psalms 146:3 King James Version (KJV)
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, In whom there is no help.
Psalms 146:3 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.
Psalms 146:3 New Century Version (NCV)
Do not put your trust in princes or other people, who cannot save you.
Psalms 146:3 American Standard Version (ASV)
Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Psalms 146:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
Psalms 146:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation (help).
Psalms 146:3 New Living Translation (NLT)
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.
Psalms 146:3-4 The Passion Translation (TPT)
We can never look to men for help; no matter who they are, they can’t save us, for even our great leaders fail and fall. They too are just mortals who will one day die. At death the spirits of all depart and their bodies return to dust. In the day of their death all their projects and plans are over.
