Psalms 41:1-3
Psalms 41:1-3 The Message (MSG)
Dignify those who are down on their luck; you’ll feel good—that’s what GOD does. GOD looks after us all, makes us robust with life— Lucky to be in the land, we’re free from enemy worries. Whenever we’re sick and in bed, GOD becomes our nurse, nurses us back to health.
Psalms 41:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
Psalms 41:1-3 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive, And he shall be called blessed upon the earth; And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies. The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
Psalms 41:1-3 New Century Version (NCV)
Happy are those who think about the poor. When trouble comes, the LORD will save them. The LORD will protect them and spare their life and will bless them in the land. He will not let their enemies take them. The LORD will give them strength when they are sick, and he will make them well again.

God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. They’re the first ones God helps when they find themselves in any trouble. The Lord will preserve and protect them. They’ll be honored and esteemed while their enemies are defeated. When they are sick, lying upon their bed of suffering, God will restore them. He will raise them up again and restore them back to health.
