Philippians 3:19
Philippians 3:19 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.
Philippians 3:17-19 The Message (MSG)
Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal. There are many out there taking other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to go along with them. I’ve warned you of them many times; sadly, I’m having to do it again. All they want is easy street. They hate Christ’s Cross. But easy street is a dead-end street. Those who live there make their bellies their gods; belches are their praise; all they can think of is their appetites.
Philippians 3:19 King James Version (KJV)
whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Philippians 3:19 New Century Version (NCV)
In the end, they will be destroyed. They do whatever their bodies want, they are proud of their shameful acts, and they think only about earthly things.
Philippians 3:19 American Standard Version (ASV)
whose end is perdition, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Philippians 3:19 New International Version (NIV)
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.
Philippians 3:19 New King James Version (NKJV)
whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
Philippians 3:19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
whose fate is destruction, whose god is their belly [their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity], and whose glory is in their shame—who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things.
Philippians 3:19 New Living Translation (NLT)
They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth.
