Lokha abantu nasele banda ephasini namadodakazi andile, amadodana kaZimu abona bonyana amadodakazi wabantu mahle, azithathela abafazi abathandekako kiwo. Yeke uSomnini wathi: “Ummoya engawuphefumulela emuntwini awusoze wahlala ebantwinaba isiphelani ngombana umuntu uyinyama nje. Yeke ipilo yomuntu ayisoze yadlula eminyakeni elikhulu namatjhumi amabili.” Ngeenkhathezo nangemuva kwalokho bekukhona iintsitsirimba ephasini ngombana amadodana kaZimu alalana namadodakazi wabantu abelethelwa abantwana. Labo-ke bekuziingorho zeenkhathi zakade, okubabantu abanedumo.
