Dvere sú už zamknuté a deti sú už so mnou v posteli. Nemôžem vstať a dať ti.‘ Hovorím vám: Keď aj nevstane a nedá mu preto, že je jeho priateľom, vstane a dá mu, čo potrebuje, pre jeho neodbytnosť. A ja vám hovorím: Proste a dostanete! Hľadajte a nájdete! Klopte a otvoria vám. Lebo každý, kto prosí, dostane, kto hľadá, nájde, a kto klope, tomu otvoria. Vari je medzi vami otec, ktorý by dal svojmu synovi kameň, keď ho prosí o chlieb? Alebo hada, keď ho prosí o rybu?
