This Bible study devotional covers Psalm 56. In this passage, David fears for his life. But in his exhaustion and fear, he entrusts his life to God. Knowing God’s character and that God promised him a throne one day, David is confident in his coming rescue. Though he was promised a throne, he fell into the hands of enemies. But his resurrection proves that he can rescue from the slander and threat of enemies. He is now king at God’s right hand, and one day will bring justice to every cruelty his people had to endure.
