Divine Preparations for Kingdom Professionals

DAY 14 OF 31

KEY TRAITS OF THE DANIEL’S COMPANY (2)

Today, we will explore the second key trait of a Daniel: the importance of scrutinizing your associations. While you can’t choose your family, you have full control over the company you keep. Your associations play an important role in the pivotal moments of your life, especially if you aim to be part of Daniel’s company. When Daniel was elevated to rule over all the provinces of Babylon, he requested that his trusted companions be appointed as leaders in the state’s affairs.

Whether you like it or not, everyone has a company. You must be able to identify the company you are in at every juncture in your journey on this planet. You must ask what company you should keep. Should you be keeping company with foolish people with no future ambition? We can learn about your vision of your destination from your company. If you are going somewhere serious, you can't walk with people who are not going anywhere.

The wrong company will lead you astray from your true path. Ensure that your associations align with your destiny, and you will be on track to achieve it. Daniel surrounded himself with individuals who were committed to prayer and seeking God’s direction, even at the highest levels of power. This dedication is why the king chose them. The devil, too, seeks to corrupt and mislead those he selects. So, choose your company wisely and stay true to your purpose.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, lead me to the right company of my destiny. Please help me to be sensitive to every wrong company of men that is dangerous to my destiny.
