Miracles for Everyone

DAY 3 OF 4

Miracles for Everybody

We know what it means to proclaim the gospel in childlike simplicity to multitudes in more than a hundred nations over six glorious decades.

We know what it means to obey God rather than fallible human beings. We have done it. My family and I know what it means to be demeaned and condemned because one dares to act on God’s word of promise. Critics have done that to us., but we also know that faith wins and that biblical courage defeats every enemy.

We have felt the pulse beat of suffering humanity throughout our despairing world. And by the grace and power of God, we have been instrumental in persuading hundreds of thousands of wonderful people to believe in Jesus Christ. We are convinced that everyone wants to know about the God of miracles. The Bible says God made people of all nations to dwell upon the earth. We all have the same hunger for God, who confirms His Word and fulfills His promises with signs, miracles, and wonders.

We have proclaimed Christ’s gospel to Hindus, Muslims, Confucians, animists, and peoples of innumerable tribal religions. We have shared this gospel in the cold North and the deep South, the traditional East, and the industrialized West. We have taught the good news of Christ to the educated and the illiterate, to people of all colors—black, red, yellow, brown, and white. The ministry we have received from the Lord is to testify to the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24) and to preach the gospel in the regions beyond, in places where others have not labored (2 Corinthians 10:16).

People of all races, nations, and creeds are ready to accept the Christ of the gospels and to serve Him when they see His Word confirmed by signs and miracles. Multiplied thousands of souls are turning from traditional, empty religions to serve the Living God. The gospel is for everyone, the entire world, every creature, every nation, for whosoever. Miracles are for everybody. Everything that Christ died to provide is available to everyone for whom He died. There are no exceptions with God.

If ten thousand non-Christians hear the gospel of salvation, believe it, repent of their sins, and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by faith, every one of them will receive the gift of salvation. Jesus died for every human person. He paid the price for everyone to be able to come to God and to receive His gift of Life. That is the Good News that we proclaim to all the world.

God, help me to understand and rejoice in Your radical, all-inclusive, amazing love. Jesus died for everyone, for me, and every person on Earth.

About this Plan

Miracles for Everyone

This devotional plan is based Dr. T. L. Osborn’s book Miracles: Proof of God’s Love. Miracles are normal for God, who created all things by His great power and outstretched arm. As you read this devotional, you, too, can experience the miracle of Christ’s presence. He is alive. He loves you. He yearns to reveal Himself to you.
