Through the Bible: ExodusSample
Uniquely Crafted
The Israelites had done all the work just as the Lord had commanded Moses. Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
Exodus 39:42-43 (NIV)
As we come to the end of the book of Exodus, we see how God has been the architect of the emigration of the Israelites from Egypt. Through these chapters we also find how God worked out the smallest of details in building the Tabernacle.
Why did God go into such details? We find that The Tabernacle was the dwelling place of God Himself. In order for God to dwell amongst His people, God wanted everything to be made in a particular way and in a particular order.
God made you and me with such intricate detail that we are not an accidental being! God made each and every one of us with such attention to detail - we are uniquely, fearfully and wonderfully made. This is because God wants to dwell in our hearts, and our bodies are a Temple of the Living God.
When we obey the Lord and submit to Him in all areas of our lives, we are also assured of the blessings that come with it – God’s Grace, Peace, Strength, Joy and the hope of eternal Life. Knowing that God made you and me with a purpose, let’s examine our lives and see if we are indeed making our bodies a temple of the Living God.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me unique and for a purpose. Help me to put You first in every area of my life so that You delight in dwelling inside of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
About this Plan
As the name suggests, the book of Exodus is about the departure of the enslaved Israelites from Egypt to the land God promised to Abraham. This is an invitation for the people to leave from bondage to freedom, to be called “My People” by God. Is there anything in life that is putting you in bondage? Do you want to be free? Join us as we journey through Exodus.
