Psalms 25:12-22
Psalms 25:12-22 The Message (MSG)
My question: What are God-worshipers like? Your answer: Arrows aimed at God’s bull’s-eye. They settle down in a promising place; Their kids inherit a prosperous farm. God-friendship is for God-worshipers; They are the ones he confides in. If I keep my eyes on GOD, I won’t trip over my own feet. Look at me and help me! I’m all alone and in big trouble. My heart and mind are fighting each other; Call a truce to this civil war. Take a hard look at my life of hard labor, Then lift this ton of sin. Do you see how many people Have it in for me? How viciously they hate me? Keep watch over me and keep me out of trouble; Don’t let me down when I run to you. Use all your skill to put me together; I wait to see your finished product. GOD, give your people a break From this run of bad luck.
Psalms 25:12-22 King James Version (KJV)
What man is he that feareth the LORD? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the earth. The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; For he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; And forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies; for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; For I wait on thee. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Look upon my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with violent hatred. Guard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. Psalms 25:12-22 New Century Version (NCV)
Are there those who respect the LORD? He will point them to the best way. They will enjoy a good life, and their children will inherit the land. The LORD tells his secrets to those who respect him; he tells them about his agreement. My eyes are always looking to the LORD for help. He will keep me from any traps. Turn to me and have mercy on me, because I am lonely and hurting. My troubles have grown larger; free me from my problems. Look at my suffering and troubles, and take away all my sins. Look at how many enemies I have! See how much they hate me! Protect me and save me. I trust you, so do not let me be disgraced. My hope is in you, so may goodness and honesty guard me. God, save Israel from all their troubles!

Psalms 25:12-22 Amplified Bible (AMP)
¶Who is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose. His soul will dwell in prosperity and goodness, And his descendants will inherit the land. The secret [of the wise counsel] of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning. [John 7:17; 15:15] My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will bring my feet out of the net. ¶Turn to me [LORD] and be gracious to me, For I am alone and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are multiplied; Bring me out of my distresses. Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins. Look upon my enemies, for they are many; They hate me with cruel and violent hatred. Guard my soul and rescue me; Do not let me be ashamed or disappointed, For I have taken refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness protect me, For I wait [expectantly] for You. O God, redeem Israel, Out of all his troubles.
Psalms 25:12-22 New Living Translation (NLT)
Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land. The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant. My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies. Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress. My problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save me from them all! Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins. See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me! Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge. May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you. O God, ransom Israel from all its troubles.
Psalms 25:12-22 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Who are they that live in the holy fear of YAHWEH? You will show them the right path to take. Then prosperity and favor will be their portion, and their descendants will inherit the earth. There’s a private place reserved for the devoted lovers of YAHWEH, where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises. Rescue me, YAHWEH, for you free my feet from every trap. Sorrows fill my heart as I feel helpless, mistreated— I’m all alone and in misery! Come closer to me now, for I need your mercy. Turn to me, for my problems seem to be going from bad to worse. Only you can free me from all these troubles! Until you lift this burden, the burden of all my sins, my troubles and trials will be more than I can handle. Can’t you feel my pain? Vicious, violent enemies hate me. There are so many, Lord. Can’t you see? Will you protect me from their power against me? I have taken shelter in you. Let it never be said that when I trusted you, you didn’t come to my rescue. Your perfection and faithfulness are my bodyguards, for you are my hope and I trust in you as my only protection. Zealously, God, we ask you to come save Israel from all her troubles, for you provide the ransom price for your people!
