1 Thessalonians 5:7

Jesus said we will not only do what He did but even greater things. This three-day plan focuses on a profound statement Jesus made about who you are and your ability to make a difference. It equips you with the truth to overcome obstacles that keep you from illuminating the world as God intended.

This plan will explore what the letter of 1 Thessalonians teaches us in four major areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or believers 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

During Advent, not only do we anticipate an event that has already taken place – Jesus’s first coming – but we also look forward to and anticipate his second coming! In this plan, designed to be used during any of the days of the Advent season, we will reflect on 1 Thessalonians as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christmas.

The Church of Jesus Christ is the institution that God has chosen to fulfill His plan on earth. This is the third part of the 3-part series devotion on the Bible-revealed Greatness of God and His Plan. While the first part focus on certain aspects of the Greatness of God, the second part on the Greatness of Jesus, this last part focuses on the call of the Church of Jesus.
