Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham.

When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today it is necessary for me to stay at your house.” He hurried, came down, and welcomed him joyfully.

Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, I will give half of my possessions to the poor, Lord! And if I have cheated anyone out of anything, I will pay back four times as much.”

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” He answered, “I am telling y’all, if they keep silent, the stones will cry out.”
