Then Jesus told his disciples a story to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

And won’t God make things right for his chosen people, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them, and he’ll make sure that it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

Jesus answered, “Things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

“For some time the judge refused, but he finally said to himself, ‘Though I don’t have any respect for God and I don’t care what people think, because this widow keeps bothering me, I’m going to see that things are made right for her. If I don’t, someday she’ll pester me to death!’ ”

Truly I tell you, anyone who doesn’t receive God’s kingdom like a little child will never enter it.”

But Jesus called the children over. “Let the little children come to me,” he said, “and don’t keep them away. God’s kingdom belongs to people like them.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you!”

“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good except God alone.
