EquipHer Vol. 16: "Living the Vision"

DAY 5 OF 5

Day 5 – God’s Vision Is Always Bigger

When God entrusts us with a vision, we often see it in a limited way, thinking only about how it impacts us now. But God doesn’t think small. His vision is always greater, broader, and more impactful than we can imagine. It’s not just about what we can achieve; it’s about who we can bless and transform through our obedience to His calling.

The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 55:8-9: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as heaven is higher than earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” This means that while we think in terms of small personal achievements, God is writing a much bigger story, intertwining our lives with those of many others.

We see this principle at work throughout the Bible: Abraham only wanted a son, but God wanted to give him descendants as numerous as the stars (Genesis 15:5); Moses thought his mission was simply to free Israel from Egypt, but God was preparing a nation that would carry His glory into the world (Exodus 3:10-12); Esther wasn’t made queen for her personal comfort, but to save an entire nation (Esther 4:14); Joseph wasn’t promoted because of his talents alone, but because through him, his family and the nation of Israel would survive a famine (Genesis 50:20).

What you are building today, if led by God, may become the answer to someone else’s prayer tomorrow. If God has given you a dream, don’t look at it through the lens of your human limitations. Don’t just think about what you can do—ask yourself what God wants to do through me. Your gifts, your work, and your calling are instruments to glorify God and impact the lives of others.

Practical Tip: choose one specific action to start blessing others through the gifts and calling that God has given you.

Prayer: Lord, help me to see beyond myself and understand that the vision You have given me is greater than anything I can imagine. I want to be a light to others, a vessel in Your hands to bless and transform lives. Expand my heart and my mind so that I may walk in faith in Your plan, knowing that everything I build with You will have an eternal impact. Amen.

About this Plan

EquipHer Vol. 16: "Living the Vision"

God did not create us to live without direction but to walk with a clear vision and a precise purpose.
