Proclaim
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Phil. 4:8-9)
Prompt
The longer I’ve walked with God, the more I’ve learned that He is a good Father who takes good care of His kids. He has given each of us gifts we can use to expand His kingdom and through which we can worship Him.
But most of all, He’s given each of us exactly what we need for today.
This is especially useful when you feel short of hope because it frees you up from feeling like you have to manufacture your own hopes for the future. If you have some hopes, then that’s great! If not, no worries: God will give them to you sooner rather than later.
But most of all, He’ll give you hope for this day and this moment in time.
God loves to give us what we need when we need it—even when we don’t seem very grateful for it in the process. That’s just the way He is!
