“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us...” Romans 12:6 NIV

Molly says:

It was time to get ready for the quest to find the missing key. Reginald took me to Milady Mouse's shop. She had everything I needed for the journey. She gave me a fresh set of clothes, a map, a torch, and some healthy snacks to keep me going.

There were wonderful things in Milady Mouse's Fashion store. Amelda found the most glamorous boots. They were purple and sparkly, with satin laces. I was desperate to own a pair. I knew I couldn't afford them, so Amelda offered to buy them for me. Milady Mouse was not best pleased.

She knew I could not complete my mission if I wore those beautiful boots. There was a reason why I was given these particular boots. I didn't understand it at the time, but it all made sense once I started climbing that mountain to get to the Great Magician's house.

We can often be tempted to look at what other people have, and feel like what we have, is not as good or special. But we were designed by God, carefully put together, and given special gifts and talents to help us fulfil the plans He created us for.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the wonderful gifts and talents that you have given me. Thank you for the wonderful plans you have for me and for giving me the gifts to help me fulfil your plans for my life. Show me ways that I can help others with my gifts.
