It’s from Psalm 1: “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” This verse teaches us about the Christian life, about what it shouldn’t be. But what should it be?

"Blessed are those who mourn..." (Matthew 5:4, NIV) How is that supposed to work? Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to have joy in all circumstances. Could there be a link between joy and mourning?
