Wise Counsel

I ask for your wisdom, God. Please help me to know your ways. Every day, I have decisions I need to make that require discernment beyond my years. Help me to be as perceptive as you are. Help me to rely upon your knowledge and trust in your understanding.

Thank you that you do not withhold from me because of who I am. Thank you for generously giving me what I need each day. Your judgments are perfect, Jesus.

Your ways are without fault. I trust in you to provide what I need. You do not suppress me but give lavishly for my success in your ways. You are faithful in what you give and in listening to my prayers. I will read your Word and accept the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is my wise counselor.
