On The Other Side Of Exhaustion Is His RestSample
One of the most common ways that the enemy will try to steal your rest and peace is through fear.
The first mention of fear that we see in the Bible is in Genesis 3:10 (nkjv): “So he said, ‘I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.’” As soon as Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, they opened the door to sin in the world. For the first time, they stepped away from a God-consciousness and developed a sin consciousness, allowing them to experience fear.
God’s original intention for mankind is still His ultimate intention for mankind. He doesn’t want us living in fear, and He desires for us to fellowship in love with Him. As soon as mankind set itself onto the path of fear and death, God had a plan to save us. (He revealed this first in Genesis 3:15, which is a prophecy of the coming of Christ.)
So how do we avoid living in fear? The remedy for fear is knowledge—knowledge of who God is, His love, and who we are in Him. During Christ’s ministry on Earth, He acted as a teacher. He taught about and modeled perfect love and how to live in it. In 1 John 4:18 (esv), John tells us this, a lesson he learned from serving under Jesus’s ministry: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” You can’t live in in fear while living in perfect love.
The more you learn about love and how to live in it, the less fear will take presence in your life. Fear is the internal conclusion in your mind that there is something to be afraid of, that there is something to worry about, and that you don’t have what it takes for the situation. As you learn about and experience God’s love, you will know that there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of or worry about. You will know with surety that God supplies your every need, and you only have to believe it to receive it.
I encourage you to take control of your thought life and renew your mind in the knowledge of God’s love, casting out any thought that goes against it. God’s provided you with everything you need to live out your life’s calling in His perfect love, peace, protection, and everything that comes with it. Now is your time to claim it!

About this Plan
“How are you doing? I am busy as ever.” In a world that weighs success by business, God wants us to understand that He brings His rest. God’s rest is about living life in the supernatural fullness of God, living out your purpose, and being right with God, right with your self, and right with the world.
