2 John 1:12-13

Deeper into Scripture is a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God’s Word daily and deeply. To accomplish this we have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times. Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered. This repetitive reading and instruction takes us deeply into the Word of God and draws us closer to Him.

John's second letter addresses the same false teachers as 1 John. He emphasizes the need for wisdom and discernment when interacting with false teachers. True Christian fellowship is must be founded on the truth of Christ and built in love towards one another.

The worst attacks on our faith come in subtle ways. On the tip of the iceberg, we see arguments from apparently sincere followers of Jesus. But what we don’t see underneath is how their false doctrines can destroy faith. How can we identify these deceivers and their lies? What should we do about them? Words are powerful. Your voice has the ability to bring good or evil into your life. We must always remember that we have an enemy who loves to whisper lies in our ears and has the power to bring those lies into the world through our mouths. Our job is to discern which voice we listen to and be careful about what we say, think, and believe.
