Ða cwæð se hælend to heom. Min mete ys þæt ic werche þas willen þe me sende. þæt ic fulfremie me hys werces.

Þa cwæð þæt wif to hym. Leof ne þu næfst nan þing mid to hladene ⁊þes pet ys deop. hwanen hafst þu lifes wæter.

Ðæt wif cwæð to him. ic wat þæt messias cymð þæt ys genemned crist. þonne he cymð he cyð us ealle þing. Se hælend cwæð to hyre. Ic hyt em. þe wið þe sprece.

Cumæd ⁊geseod þonne man þe me sægde ealle þa þing þe ic dede. cweðe ge is he crist.
