Artist and songwriter Lydia Laird’s music transcends sound to emotion. Her self-titled debut EP, out now, introduces listeners to Laird’s powerful vocals and her willingness to be in the dark places.  She finds hope with anthems that address the pain in life along with the power of the Gospel. Laird, seventh in a family of ten children, grew up in a Christian home in Texas that also lived in Romania as missionaries. She remembers becoming a Christian when she was four years old and wrote her first song at nine, when music became an outlet for her.
