John 12.
Jesus is anointed by Mary. She pours out expensive oil on His feet and ministers to Jesus in an extravagant expression of her love for Him. She was forgiven much, and she loved much.
Are you living a life of love? How do you give expression to your love for Jesus?
Later in this chapter Jesus talks about reproduction:
"Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over.” (John 12:20-24 NIV)
Jesus had a vision to reproduce Himself many times over! He wants to reproduce Himself in you.
Jesus is not just the model for man – He is the model of man. He demonstrated the kind of life we should be living as followers of Christ.
