Extol the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion. He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you. He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat. He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes. He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast? He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow. He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws.

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your children within you. He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat. He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow. He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and rules to Israel. He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules. Praise the LORD!

Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within your walls. He sends peace across your nation and satisfies your hunger with the finest wheat. He sends his orders to the world— how swiftly his word flies! He sends the snow like white wool; he scatters frost upon the ground like ashes. He hurls the hail like stones. Who can stand against his freezing cold? Then, at his command, it all melts. He sends his winds, and the ice thaws. He has revealed his words to Jacob, his decrees and regulations to Israel. He has not done this for any other nation; they do not know his regulations.

Exalt the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion!  For he strengthens the bars of your city gates and blesses your children within you.  He endows your territory with prosperity;  , he satisfies you with the finest wheat.  He sends his command throughout the earth; his word runs swiftly.  He spreads snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes;  he throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand his cold?  He sends his word and melts them; he unleashes his winds,  and the water flows.  He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel.  He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments.  Hallelujah!

He maketh peace in thy borders, And filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: His word runneth very swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: He scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: Who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. He sheweth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: And as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

Jerusalem, worship GOD! Zion, praise your God! He made your city secure, he blessed your children among you. He keeps the peace at your borders, he puts the best bread on your tables. He launches his promises earthward— how swift and sure they come! He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He broadcasts hail like birdseed— who can survive his winter? Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it’s spring! He speaks the same way to Jacob, speaks words that work to Israel. He never did this to the other nations; they never heard such commands. Hallelujah!

¶Praise the LORD, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons among you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat. He sends His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. He showers snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes. He hurls His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold? He sends His word and makes them melt; He makes His wind blow, and the waters flow. He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel. He has not dealt this way with any other nation; And as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the LORD!

¶Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your children within you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat. He sends His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. He gives [to the earth] snow like [a blanket of] wool; He scatters the frost like ashes. He casts out His ice like fragments; Who can stand before His cold? He sends out His word and melts the ice; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow. He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel. [Mal 4:4] He has not dealt this way with any [other] nation; They have not known [understood, appreciated, heeded, or cherished] His ordinances. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) [Ps 79:6; Jer 10:25]

He abundantly provides for you the best grain. He sends his command through the earth; swiftly his order reaches its destination. He sends the snow that is white like wool; he spreads the frost that is white like ashes. He throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand the cold wind he sends? He then orders it all to melt; he breathes on it, and the water flows. He proclaims his word to Jacob, his statutes and regulations to Israel. He has not done so with any other nation; they are not aware of his regulations. Praise the LORD!
