Isaiah 27:2-6
Isaiah 27:2-6 New International Version (NIV)
In that day— “Sing about a fruitful vineyard: I, the LORD, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it. I am not angry. If only there were briers and thorns confronting me! I would march against them in battle; I would set them all on fire. Or else let them come to me for refuge; let them make peace with me, yes, let them make peace with me.” In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.
Isaiah 27:2-6 The Message (MSG)
“At that same time, a fine vineyard will appear. There’s something to sing about! I, GOD, tend it. I keep it well-watered. I keep careful watch over it so that no one can damage it. I’m not angry. I care. Even if it gives me thistles and thornbushes, I’ll just pull them out and burn them up. Let that vine cling to me for safety, let it find a good and whole life with me, let it hold on for a good and whole life.” The days are coming when Jacob shall put down roots, Israel blossom and grow fresh branches, and fill the world with its fruit.
Isaiah 27:2-6 King James Version (KJV)
In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine. I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Or let him rely on My protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me.” In the days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will blossom and sprout, And they will fill the whole world with fruit.

But if anyone comes to me for safety and wants to make peace with me, he should come and make peace with me.” In the days to come, the people of Jacob will be like a plant with good roots; Israel will grow like a plant beginning to bloom.
