Psalm 59:12

Do you live with regret from hasty decisions or impulsive choices? Have you ever reacted to a situation because of the pressure you felt to act? To avoid a life of destructive reaction, we must learn to watch and wait for the Lord. This divine watching and waiting is a lethal combination to defeat compulsive and impetuous decision-making. Watching for God places us in His presence, where we will be strengthened and empowered for life.

Life is filled with unexpected setbacks. Fear, failure, and resistance threaten to stall our progress and discourage our faith. But throughout the Bible, we see that when God calls someone forward, obstacles are simply part of the journey—not the end of it. In this Bible Reading Plan, explore the life of David to see how faithful obedience and trust in God’s strength enables us to keep moving forward, even when the path is blocked.

In this 4 week study, we will dig into God’s Word and learn what He says about the words we speak to ourselves, to others, and words that change the world. We will learn to honor God and others with the words that we speak. We pray this study gives us great insight into how we can consistently speak words that give life and transform lives.

Many reduce worship to singing in church when, in fact, worship is so much more. The Bible makes it clear that worship is a lifestyle! As you become Rooted in Worship, you will see every moment, every relationship, and everything you have as an opportunity to express your love to the Lord in worship. This plan can be used along with the Rooted In Worship Small Group Video Series.
