Catechism: The World's Love

DAY 2 OF 3

From princesses to superheroes, our culture preaches the virtues of finding strength from within and following your heart. But the Bible’s message is dramatically different: our hearts are corrupt and therefore misleading.

That’s the bad news. The good news: God’s love for us changes everything, including our hearts.

Read Titus 3:3-8

Reflection Questions:

  1. How does the passage describe life without God? Can you relate to some of those descriptions and feelings?
  2. What changed things for the people who were once foolish and disobedient? How are they now described?
  3. Because of God’s kindness, love, mercy, forgiveness, and generosity, those who were once slaves to sin have confidence in eternal life. His love changes everything! How would remembering God’s grace in your life change the way you relate to God and others?

About this Plan

Catechism: The World's Love

Everybody desires to love and be loved, yet "love" is one of the most misunderstood topics in our culture. The narratives of love the world offers are very different from the true image of love we see in God. Unpack these competing narratives with this three-day devotional from Feed. Part 1 of 4 from Feed Catechism's "What is Love?".
