NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD 

If we are going to overcome fear, we need to lift our eyes to see things from God’s

perspective and come to Him with the expectation that He has plans for our lives that are higher and greater than anything we could dream of. We need to believe that He can make the impossible, possible!

When Moses took God’s people out of slavery, they found themselves between a rock and a hard place at the Red Sea. But God made a way – He can always make a way, regardless of human circumstances. We may look at our circumstances and think that change is impossible, but we can trust in God’s goodness because He ‘makes a way through the sea, and a path through the mighty waters.’ If there is lack, He can supply, and although we may not see how, His ways are far higher than ours.

Ultimately, when problems come our way, it’s not really about the problem; it’s about our perspective on the problem, and who we are trusting to resolve it. Like Moses, we can choose to put our trust in God, even when the waves are raging ahead of us and we can’t see any human way out. 

Likewise, when dreams and visions come our way, but they seem too big and impossible to fulfil, God can make a way. Steve Jobs was a visionary; so much so that he was thought to be crazy for talking about computers when no-one wanted one. He said that everyone would have a personal PC, and today he has clearly been proved right! If our visions go beyond our resources, we can rely on God and His provision. 

Action: Let’s write down a God-dream or vision that we have - one about seeing His Kingdom come and His will being done in us, and through us. What does God want us to know about next steps to take?
