Jesus Over GenerationsSample

There have been many times in my life that I have seen people hurting and wanted to do something about it. The homeless man at the stoplight. The single mom who always seemed to live in the tension of her professional life and motherhood. The addict. The troubled teenager. The baby who won’t stop crying. What do you do when you see these people? Do you react? Do you do something? Say something? Give something?

In Mark 5, Jairus’s daughter became ill and Jairus sought after Jesus to ask him for help. Jairus fell at the feet of Jesus and begged him to heal his little teenage daughter. Jesus responded, the scripture simply says, “And he (Jesus) went with him.” 

What if it was that easy? When is the last time you fell on your knees and pleaded with Jesus on behalf of someone else? When is the last time you fell on your knees and prayed for your children, your grandchildren, the next generation and the generations to come. Jesus loves and is for all generations.

Jesus is over generations.
