Elijah, The Courageous Leader - Part IV
Putting his life at risk, the prophet Elijah meets with his arch enemy, King Ahab, and demands that the King gather the false prophets and meet him on Mount Carmel.
Standing before Ahab and 850 false prophets, Elijah challenges them and their gods to a test. After considerable time mocking their gods, Elijah finally calls on his God.
In 1 Kings 18 we read, "Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, 'The Lord – he is God!'"
A courageous leader is even more emboldened when he realizes the power of God that’s available to him or her.

About this Plan
Elijah, arguably the most famous and dramatic of Israel's prophets, teaches us that we are never as alone as we may fear; God is always with us. Whether we're facing fierce competitors or asking God to resurrect our business, we can rely upon God, who guides us and leads us one step at a time.
