The Jesus Mark Wants You to Know - 28 Days to Become More Intimate With JesusSýnishorn
Day 26 - Mark 15:1-41
Fully Committed
The betrayal, the arrest, the mock trial, the false accusations, the sentencing, the mockery, the beatings and torture, the crucifixion and the abandonment … everything innocent Jesus endured, He did out of love, fully surrendered, without resistance and committed to fulfilling the Father's will.
He never flinched in His resolve. He never questioned the plan, the purpose, and the way in which this sacrifice was to be made. He never defended, tried to explain or declare His innocence. He kept His focus on the Father and the eternal plan, seeing things through spiritual eyes.
Followers of Jesus are to be like Him in thought, word and deed, surrendered to the Father and His purposes and plans while always keeping eternity in mind.
Each of His apostles were given the chance to live this out and they did.
How about you?
