She Is Redeemed: The One Encounter That Changes EverythingSýnishorn
Day 6: The Peace Of God
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7). Knowing we are accepted and loved brings peace that sustains us through tough times. Just as the Samaritan woman left her water jar behind, we can leave behind our burdens when we experience this peace. From that day she had living water that flowed like a peaceful stream in her. She no longer needed other things; she just needed Jesus. As a trauma survivor, I carried the weight of my past, but God's love and prayer helped me release it. Maybe you are experiencing an immense amount of pain in your life and you need peace. I want to encourage you to call on the Prince of Peace today and gain the peace that the world can not give you. Release the pain for an invitation of peace. I pray that you receive the peace that frees, heals, renews, restores, and is a breath of refreshing air. May it overflow through your being and life.
Reflection: Imagine having ultimate peace in your life. What would it look like in your family, home, and relationships? Write a prayer for this vision of peace.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, free me from the pain in my heart today. Fill me with Your peace, love, and joy. Help me release my burdens and embrace the peace only You can provide. In Jesus' name, Amen.
