You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me. Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead. Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; ruthless people are trying to kill me— they have no regard for you. But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did. Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace. In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me. There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever. For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. O God, insolent men have risen up against me; a band of ruthless men seeks my life, and they do not set you before them. But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your maidservant. Show me a sign of your favor, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Listen closely to my prayer, O LORD; hear my urgent cry. I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me. No pagan god is like you, O Lord. None can do what you do! All the nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your holy name. For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God. Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever, for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death. O God, insolent people rise up against me; a violent gang is trying to kill me. You mean nothing to them. But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. Look down and have mercy on me. Give your strength to your servant; save me, the son of your servant. Send me a sign of your favor. Then those who hate me will be put to shame, for you, O LORD, help and comfort me.

For you, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive,  abounding in faithful love to all who call on you.  LORD, hear my prayer; listen to my cries for mercy.  I call on you in the day of my distress, for you will answer me.  Lord, there is no one like you among the gods, and there are no works like yours.  All the nations you have made will come and bow down before you, Lord, and will honor your name.  For you are great and perform wonders; you alone are God.  Teach me your way,  LORD, and I will live by your truth. Give me an undivided mind to fear your name.  I will praise you with all my heart, Lord my God, and will honor your name forever.  For your faithful love for me is great, and you rescue my life from the depths of Sheol.  God, arrogant people have attacked me; a gang of ruthless men intends to kill me. They do not let you guide them.  , But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth.  Turn to me and be gracious to me. Give your strength to your servant; save the son of your female servant.  Show me a sign of your goodness; my enemies will see and be put to shame because you, LORD, have helped and comforted me.

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; And plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: For thou wilt answer me. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; Neither are there any works like unto thy works. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; And shall glorify thy name. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: And I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. O God, the proud are risen against me, And the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; And have not set thee before them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; Give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Shew me a token for good; That they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: Because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to Your servant, And save the son of Your maidservant. Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

Bend an ear, GOD; answer me. I’m one miserable wretch! Keep me safe—haven’t I lived a good life? Help your servant—I’m depending on you! You’re my God; have mercy on me. I count on you from morning to night. Give your servant a happy life; I put myself in your hands! You’re well-known as good and forgiving, bighearted to all who ask for help. Pay attention, GOD, to my prayer; bend down and listen to my cry for help. Every time I’m in trouble I call on you, confident that you’ll answer. There’s no one quite like you among the gods, O Lord, and nothing to compare with your works. All the nations you made are on their way, ready to give honor to you, O Lord, Ready to put your beauty on display, parading your greatness, And the great things you do— God, you’re the one, there’s no one but you! Train me, GOD, to walk straight; then I’ll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear. From the bottom of my heart I thank you, dear Lord; I’ve never kept secret what you’re up to. You’ve always been great toward me—what love! You snatched me from the brink of disaster! God, these bullies have reared their heads! A gang of thugs is after me— and they don’t care a thing about you. But you, O God, are both tender and kind, not easily angered, immense in love, and you never, never quit. So look me in the eye and show kindness, give your servant the strength to go on, save your dear, dear child! Make a show of how much you love me so the bullies who hate me will stand there slack-jawed, As you, GOD, gently and powerfully put me back on my feet.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. Listen, LORD, to my prayer; And give Your attention to the sound of my pleading! On the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. There is no one like You among the gods, Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours. All nations whom You have made will come and worship before You, Lord, And they will glorify Your name. For You are great, and You do wondrous deeds; You alone are God. ¶Teach me Your way, LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. I will give thanks to You, Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forever. For Your graciousness toward me is great, And You have saved my soul from the depths of Sheol. ¶God, arrogant men have risen up against me, And a gang of violent men have sought my life, And they have not set You before them. But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, Slow to anger and abundant in mercy and truth. Turn to me, and be gracious to me; Grant Your strength to Your servant, And save the son of Your maidservant. Show me a sign of good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our sins, sending them away, completely letting them go forever and ever]; And abundant in lovingkindness and overflowing in mercy to all those who call upon You. Hear, O LORD, my prayer; And listen attentively to the voice of my supplications (specific requests)! In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord, Nor are there any works [of wonder and majesty] like Yours. All nations whom You have made shall come and kneel down in worship before You, O Lord, And they shall glorify Your name. For You are great and do wondrous works! You alone are God. ¶Teach me Your way, O LORD, I will walk and live in Your truth; Direct my heart to fear Your name [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder]. [Ps 5:11; 69:36] I will give thanks and praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart; And will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your lovingkindness and graciousness toward me; And You have rescued my life from the depths of Sheol [from death]. ¶O God, arrogant and insolent men have risen up against me; A band of violent men have sought my life, And they have not set You before them. But You, O Lord, are a God [who protects and is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness and truth. Turn to me, and be gracious to me; Grant Your strength [Your might and the power to resist temptation] to Your servant, And save the son of Your handmaid. Show me a sign of [Your] goodwill, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, O LORD, helped and comforted me.

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you. O LORD, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for mercy! In my time of trouble I cry out to you, for you will answer me. None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable! All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, O Lord. They will honor your name. For you are great and do amazing things. You alone are God. O LORD, teach me how you want me to live! Then I will obey your commands. Make me wholeheartedly committed to you! O Lord, my God, I will give you thanks with my whole heart! I will honor your name continually! For you will extend your great loyal love to me, and will deliver my life from the depths of Sheol. O God, arrogant men attack me; a gang of ruthless men, who do not respect you, seek my life. But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. Turn toward me and have mercy on me! Give your servant your strength! Deliver your slave! Show me evidence of your favor! Then those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, for you, O LORD, will help me and comfort me.
