God Will Pay This Bill

Do you already know the verses from Proverbs 3:5-7 by heart? I hope so :-) because today we have reached the last day of this series, and I wish so much that you will begin and end every other day in your life with this verse in your heart—because God is FOR YOU! Be blessed today!

Are you waiting for a financial miracle?

When God recently laid on my heart to write new worship songs, my first reaction was, "But that's so much work." haha.

It's true; one would almost not believe it, but I don't enjoy the work behind a song. And even less enjoyable is paying all the bills that come crashing down on me while producing such a song.

But I have learned to listen to God, even when it's not enjoyable for me, and I still don't have a penny for God's desire. It's a bit funny as I type this out... "I don't have a penny for God's desire."

You can be sure that what God initiates, He also finances! And it was definitely His initiative to lay this desire on my heart.

That's why I love these verses so much:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways obey him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Have respect for the LORD and avoid evil." (Proverbs 3:5-7 NIRV).

As I'm telling you this, I haven't secured the finances for the entire production yet. But God reached me with His love in a humorous way because a donation came into my account, and I thought, "Yes, that will be for the songs!" But in the subject line, I read: "For champagne and sushi."

I had to laugh so much! THAT'S GOD. While you are waiting for Him to make His dream come true, He is waiting to bring you joy in this moment! Small-minded me would have said, "Well, Prosecco would have been enough." But God wanted to tell me something through this... and I understood it in that moment!

I want to encourage you: Reassess whether this dream really is His dream. And then, with trust, as the verses say, take the next steps courageously, expecting that He will bless the project—and you too!

You are a miracle!
