Lik 2:8-16
Men zanj lan di yo konsa: — Pa pè. Men ki siy k'ap fè nou rekonèt li: n'a jwenn yon tibebe vlope nan kouchèt ki kouche nan yon ganmèl kote yo bay bèt manje. Menm lè a, yon foul lòt zanj nan syèl la vin jwenn zanj lan. Yo t'ap fè lwanj Bondye, yo t'ap di konsa: Lwanj pou Bondye nan syèl la, kè poze pou tout moun sou latè ki byen dispoze.
Sanzatann konsa, yon anj Senyè a parèt sou yo epi laglwa Senyè a, tankou yon gwo limyè, te klere tout kote yo te ye a. Bèje yo te pran tranble, tèlman yo te pè. Zanj lan di yo konsa: “Nou pa bezwen pè. Jodi a menm, Sovè nou an fèt nan lavil David la. Se li menm Senye, Mesi yo k ap delivre nou anba tout tray nou yo. Men ki siy k ap fè nou rekonèt li: N ap jwenn yon ti bebe byen vlope epi kouche nan yon bwat an planch kote yo konn bay bèt manje.” Konsa, yo kouri ale epi yo te jwenn Mari ak Jozèf ansanm ak ti bebe a ki te kouche nan bwat an planch kote bèt yo te konn manje a.
Lik 2:8-16 New International Version (NIV)
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
