Guided Prayers for Afternoon Walksનમૂનો
Gratitude:
We can all give thanks when we have good circumstances. But the New Testament tells us to practice gratitude in all circumstances.
Today, we can choose to turn our souls towards our creator, and allow gratitude to grow.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 reads "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Gratitude for all God has done in my life is rising like the ocean tide within my heart, and it's washing over my mind with positivity and thankfulness.
I'm starting to think of all the good things in my life.
Friday night basketball games with my son.
Morning coffee with my wife.
My little loyal Cava-poodle: Romeo.
I'm Benjamin Windle. Would you pray with me? Take a moment to ground yourself. Take a deep breath. Center your mind on the presence of the Holy Spirit. God is with us. God sees. God cares. God knows.
Dear God, today we step into a posture of prayer... and we express gratitude.
Thank you for who you are.
Thank you for what you have done.
Thank you that in the midst of every trial in life, You have never abandoned me.
Thank you for being the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Thank you for all the good things in my life. The blessings.
Thank you for this moment right now. I don't take a second for granted.
God, today, thank you for your grace that covers my life.
We pray this together in Jesus' name. Amen.”
Today, let's walk in gratitude.
