Learning from Pergamum
I. Inside a healthy church, there must be an ability to perform theological triage.
Albert Mohler: “A discipline of theological triage would require Christians to determine a scale of theological urgency that would correspond to the medical world's framework for medical priority.”
II. A healthy church sees the mission and purpose of the church correctly.
Temptation in the church: missional drift.
Compromise for Convenience vs. Conviction for Commissioning
III. Where the church has compromised, we must repent.
