Toothbrushes will be given to the children at schools and soccer balls are greatly appreciated (most schools use bunched up plastic bags for balls). Kenya Connect has a small library and gently used books—especially information books like DK Books, National Geographic series, early readers, and picture books will be brought over. Unforgiveness. Someone sins against us and we just can’t seem to let it go or even want to try to restore the relationship...
...but the Bible encourages us and in reality tells us we have to forgive.
...but the Bible encourages us and in reality tells us we have to forgive.
Forgiveness is a heart attitude, not a verbal action.
When we forgive, we don’t negate the offense. We acknowledge it.
Forgiveness allows us to admit how our lives are different today because of the offense. Once we admit it, it is easier to forgive.
Paul is encouraging Philemon to have a heart to forgive, not to do it under mandate.
When we act in faith because we want to please God and trust that what he says about forgiveness is true. We will experience blessings and peace in the future that we wouldn’t have if we didn’t have the need to forgive.
Thanks for joining us!
