Ephesians 3:20 - “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (NLT)
From the very beginning of creation, God’s nature is very clear: He always starts with the end in mind.
Genesis 3:15 - “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” (NIV)
#1 GOD’S PLAN LEADS US TO THE CROSS
John 1:29 - 34 - "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who
takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has
surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with
water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”
Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And
I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you
see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify
that this is God’s Chosen One.”
Romans 5:8 - 11 - "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died
for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath
through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son,
how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also
boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."
#2 GOD’S PLAN LEADS US THROUGH THE CROSS
John 1:33 - “And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man
on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.”
His journey to the Cross and through the Cross was for more than just getting you to heaven. His plan is to empower you to accomplish infinitely more than you might ever ask or think!
