TODAY’S MESSAGE: “Petition & Intercession”
TODAY’S BIG IDEA: Regardless of the “what," when the people of God are praying, there’s always a “but" that can change everything.

Visit our website to hear this message (and any older message that you might have missed). We typically post the latest one on Tuesday afternoons.
https://baycitygracechurch.org/sermon/Reflect: When you pray, do you have a list of “go to” prayers that you find yourself praying for all the time? What is it?
Reflect: What, in your mind, is the difference between a prayer of petition and one of intercession? (Here’s a hint; in one your praying primarily for “you,” in the other is primarily for “yours”?
Reflect: (This may be a challenge) Try to find at least two prayers of intercession (prayers where someone is praying for someone else) in the bible. What are some of the similarities to your prayers for people? (hint, look at the life of Moses to find at least one)
Reflect: When you’re praying for yourself or someone you know and love, how does this image of God as a loving Father inform the way you pray? Do you expect God to hear you? How might you know if God does?
Reflect: What’s one thing you can take from this message and apply to your life?
Rest & Reflect: Days 6 & 7 are days of rest and reflection. Use these days to dig a bit deeper if you feel inspired.
