How To Pray

Matthew 6:25-34 ESV
The Lord’s Prayer has six different movements, or buckets, for turns.
1. Our Father’s Name
2. Our Father’s Kingdom
3. Our Father’s Provision
4. Our Father’s Forgiveness
5. Our Father’s Leading
6. Our Father’s Deliverance

1. Give us this day our daily bread.
This is a communal prayer. We pray for one another's needs - not just our own.
We comes before me.

We live in day to day dependance on God.

3. Give us this day our daily bread.
"Bread" is a symbol of everything we need to survive.
NEED! Not luxury fueled by greed and consumerism.
Our basic needs are food, shelter, clothing, health, meaningful work, rest, emotional, and spiritual vitality.
